We’ll receive a tour of the one and a half acres that was once an unsightly trailer park, which now boasts a lovely butterfly garden, perennial beds, garden plots, and a community garden that has grown and donated over 38,000 pounds of vegetables to the local food pantry.
Bring your favorite travel mug with the caffeinated beverage of your choice. There are park benches under a gazebo, but you are welcome to bring a more comfy chair if you’d like.
There is no fee to attend. You do not have to be a member of Landscape Illinois to participate. We invite all women working in the landscape industry to join us.
